We hold the principles of a safe space, we do not accept inappropriate behavior or discrimination in our premises. Inappropriate comments, hate speech, violence or other harassment are not allowed at our events in any form. We require our staff, partners and subcontractors to commit to the same values.

VANHA 123
Inside the old stone walls of the WSOY building, in the premises of a former cinema, beats the cultural heart of the festival. Vanha 123, which has three hundred-seats per hall, is a meeting place for diverse cultural events. The cozy and delicious Aatos Café is located in the lobby. The space is accessible entrance thresholds have been removed by building a ramp that meets accessibility standards. There is also a barrier-free toilet on the same floor in the cultural space. At the Porvoo Jazz Festival, the audience of Vanha 123 will be served a whole experience with one ticket. When the doors open, the public can enjoy record music with a glass of wine, for example. The gigs start simultaneously in halls 1 and 2. After a short break, the audience switches seats and hears the second performer of the evening.

Grand
The culture house Grand offers a wide range of cultural services and programmes for a wide audience. We are a house of possibilities, in the heart of Porvoo, where you can both create and experience art and culture. This year, the Porvoo Jazz Festival will once again come to the traditional Grand with the Jaska Lukkarinen & UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra-Rainbow Blue concert. The event is open to all ages!

Porvoo Art Hall
Porvoo Art Hall is located inside the Porvoo Art Factory. It hosts solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art, which change every month or so. During the Porvoo Jazz Festival we have the pleasure of enjoying the autumn exhibition. Taidelainaamo Konsta and Shop, a boutique for art and design products, also operates in Taidehalli. Porvoo Art Factory and Art Hall is an accessible cultural space.

Runo hotel porvoo
Thoughtful and holistic, Poetry is an experience that reaches beyond the everyday. Standing in a central location, the historic building has been updated with respect for the past, but with a contemporary design and Finnish colour scheme and materials. On the Saturday of the Porvoo Jazz Festival, a luxurious jazz brunch will be enjoyed at Runo in the hotel’s lobby bar, where brunch reservations can be made directly from the hotel’s reservation calendar. In addition, as a special treat this year, the public will be able to visit the sauna section of Runo, where a great novelty will be implemented: the Jazz Beat!
