The Porvoo Jazz Club collaboration with the beautiful RUNO Hotel Porvoo has a sequel. This time RUNO’’s famous brunch will be served and flavored with delicious jazz in the hotel’s lobby for our Festival guests. Top chefs are working in the kitchen and top jazz connoisseurs playing their instruments: keyboard player Mikko Helevä and guitarist Sami Linna – what a perfect recipe for a relaxing festival Sunday and a great boost for the rest of the festival!
Tables can be reserved through RUNO Hotel’s own reservation system and the brunch is paid on the spot. The concert ticket is included in the brunch.
Sami Linna and Mikko Helevä have been playing together in various ensembles for over 20 years. Both have studied jazz music all the way to an artistic doctorate and they both work as jazz music lecturers at the Sibelius Academy. They are also united by an interest in rhythm, rich harmonies, melodies and well crafted musical details.
