Inside the rugged stone walls of the WSOY building, in the former movie theater space, pulses The cultural heart of this unique festival. Vanha 123, with its three halls that can each seat 100 people, is a hub for a diverse range of cultural events, and its lobby is home to the cozy and delicious Aatos Café. The facility is accessible The thresholds at the entrance have been removed by installing a ramp that meets accessibility standards. At the Porvoo Jazz Festival, the audience at Vanha 123 is treated to two experiences with a single ticket. When the doors open, the audience can enjoy recorded music while sipping a glass of wine, for example. The performances begin simultaneously in Halls 1 and 2; after a short intermission, the audience moves to the other hall to hear the evening’s second performer.

During the festival, the entire venue is a designated alcohol-serving area, so events are restricted to those 18 and older.

Porvoo Art Hall

This year, the Porvoo Jazz Festival is hosting a photo exhibition featuring images from past festivals and clubs to celebrate the Jazz 100 anniversary. Martti Vilmgo’s photographs allow viewers to feel the pulse of jazz. In addition, three festival concerts will be held at Taidehalli in conjunction with the exhibition.

Porvoo Art Hall is located inside the Porvoo Art Factory. It hosts solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art, which change approximately every month. The Art Hall also houses the Konsta Art Lending Library and Shop, a retail space for art and design products. Porvoo Art Factory and the Art Hall are accessible cultural venues.
