Size doesn't matter, Jazz does!
Porvoo Jazz Festival ry
Porvoo Jazz Festival is an association that organises events with a big heart. We don’t take jazz too seriously, but we want to create experiences for the audience and the performers. We present the most up-to-date and carefully selected jazz and manage the cultural space Vanha 123.
About the Association
Porvoo Jazz Festival ry is a jazz association founded in 2013, which focuses on concert and cultural activities. PJF ry develops, promotes and maintains Porvoo’s cultural life by regularly providing high quality events for local and neighbouring audiences. Its main activities include the annual Porvoo Jazz Festival, the regular Porvoo Jazz Club concerts and the maintenance of the cultural space Vanha 123.
The association’s activities focus on promoting jazz music and strengthening community. We organise concerts, workshops and events that bring jazz closer to people. We value diversity and environmental responsibility, and these values guide everything we do. Porvoo Jazz Festival wants to be an example of an environmentally conscious cultural event that combines the joy of music with responsible action and respect for nature.
