Den danske pianisten <\/span>Rasmus S\u00f8rensen<\/b> har under de senaste \u00e5ren uppn\u00e5tt internationellt rykte tack vare sitt innovativa men samtidigt l\u00e4ttillg\u00e4ngliga musikaliska uttryck, b\u00e5de som musiker och komposit\u00f6r. Under de fem \u00e5r han tillbringade i New York blev han en av stadens mest efterfr\u00e5gade jazzpianister. \u00c5r 2023 flyttade han till K\u00f6penhamn, d\u00e4r han idag \u00e4r verksam i flera olika projekt, framf\u00f6r allt med sin egen trio. <\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00f8rensen har framf\u00f6rt sin musik bland annat i Nederl\u00e4nderna, Frankrike, Schweiz, Tyskland och Norge samt p\u00e5 ansedda jazzklubbar i New York, s\u00e5som The Jazz Gallery och Smalls Jazz Club. Han har gett ut tre kritikerrosade album med egna kompositioner, och \u00e5r 2024 utn\u00e4mndes han till \u00e5rets musiker vid Danish Music Award-galan. Hon har beskrivits som \u201den g\u00e5va till den danska musiken\u201d, och hennes senaste album <\/span>At The Right Time<\/span><\/i> har beskrivits som \u201den m\u00e4sterlig kombination av k\u00e4nsla och innovation inom modern jazz\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Konserten i Porvoo \u00e4r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen som Rasmus framf\u00f6r sin musik i Finland. Vid hans sida upptr\u00e4der en ansedd svensk basist och l\u00e5ngvarig samarbetspartner <\/span>Jon Henriksson<\/b> samt den fantastiske norske trummisen <\/span>Steinar Heide B\u00f8<\/b>, som ocks\u00e5 medverkar p\u00e5 Rasmus kommande album <\/span>You Live and You Learn<\/span><\/i>.
