Jargoslavia<\/span>, som grundades 2012 av multiinstrumentalisten Jarkko \u201dJargeli\u201d Niemel\u00e4 (bl.a. Jaakko Laitinen & V\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 Raha, Alamaailman Vasarat, Celenka), har till och med uppn\u00e5tt kultstatus<\/span>, <\/span>som \u00e4r k\u00e4nd f\u00f6r sina vilda konserter och sitt galna s\u00e4tt att kombinera musiktraditioner fr\u00e5n Balkan, Mellan\u00f6stern och Nordafrika med sprudlande progjazz och funk<\/span>. <\/span>I bandets musik m\u00f6ter komplicerade taktarter och skickliga instrumentala stycken texter p\u00e5 finska och i lappiska dialekter, som handlar om livet i den mytiska federationen Jargoslavia<\/span>, naturen, or\u00e4ttvisor och gl\u00e4dje<\/span>. <\/span>Bandet sl\u00e4ppte sitt debutalbum <\/span>Jargoslavia <\/span><\/a><\/span><\/i>\u00e5r 2017<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jargoslaviens<\/span> uttrycksform \u00e4r p\u00e5 v\u00e4g in i en ny, mikrotonal era<\/span>. Niemel\u00e4 \u00e4r<\/span> har p\u00e5 senare tid f\u00f6rdjupat sitt kompositionsarbete genom att studera maqam-tonartssystemen och de komplexa rytmerna i Balkan och Mellan\u00f6stern<\/span>. <\/span>Denna forskningsresa ger upphov till nya klangf\u00e4rger \u2013 i sina framtr\u00e4danden anv\u00e4nder han en trumpet med kvartventil samt en synthesizer, som har programmerats med ljud och tonartssystem som \u00e4r typiska f\u00f6r Mellan\u00f6stern<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
